What is Polpa?

Polpa creates and delivers tasty nutritious meals through a convenient online platform, to help busy people maintain a healthy lifestyle.

As city dwellers, day in day out we’re faced with long working hours, short breaks and horrendous commutes. For lunch or dinner, it is all too easy to grab something convenient at the expense of our health. We want to provide busy people with a ‘better’ option when it comes to buying takeaway food. Polpa uses the diversity of flavours found in natural ingredients to create wholesome, honest food with bags of flavour! Sourcing organically where possible we also aim to support local producers and farmers as we feel sustainability is important.

How does Polpa work?

1. Browse our weekly changing menu.

2. Add items to your bag. You can order for just today, or even an entire week’s worth of meals in advance, simply choose a convenient delivery window each day. Meals are always made fresh daily.

3. Checkout once you are happy with your order.

4. Enter your address and select a payment method. We offer cash on delivery, bank transfer, and secure online payment using a credit or debit card.

5. We'll notify you each day as soon as your items are out for delivery.

When and where does Polpa deliver?

We offer delivery between 11am - 1pm and 5 - 7pm, Monday to Friday.

Where is Polpa food prepared?

Polpa's kitchen is located on Wittayu Road, Ratchathewi. All food is cooked and prepared at this location. Our chefs and kitchen comply with good food hygiene practises.

GETTING STARTED

Creating an account

To begin, click Sign up in the top right hand corner of the Polpa page. You can sign up using either Facebook or with an email. If you choose Facebook please enter your credentials as if you were logging into Facebook. When signing up using an email you'll also be asked to enter your first and last names.

Sign up to our emails

If you would like to receive Polpa news, our weekly menu and promotional emails there are a number of points across the site where you can subscribe to our mailing lists.

If you already have an account, you can adjust your email preferences by going to your Profile page and selecting Edit.

If you don't have an account, you can still keep up to date by visiting the Polpa homepage and entering your email below the main banner.

Browsing the weekly menu

Click on Menu in the upper right corner of the page to browse our menu. The menu is seperated according to 'this' and 'next' week. Quickly view the menu items for each week by clicking the week of interest within the navigation bar below the Polpa logo, or simply by swiping left or right on touch enabled devices.

Each menu item has a descriptive name and summarises dietary information so you can chose the food that fits your needs. For a complete description of each meal click the image. Here you'll also be able to see a full list of dietary information, ingredients and nutritional breakdown.

Having decided what you would like to order, simply click ADD below the relevant menu item. This will present a dropup menu showing the available delivery days. Each menu item can be ordered up to a week in advance, just click your desired delivery day and the item will be added to your bag. There's no need to make a seperate order if you want another item, or even the same item, on a different day, just click ADD again and select whichever day! We'll compile all your items and deliver the food fresh on your desired days.

PLACING ORDERS

How do I order?

After adding what you want to the bag for your specified days, select a time slot for each delivery between 11am - 1pm or 5 - 7pm and then press checkout.

The checkout process has been streamlined so it can be completed with minimal fuss. Simply enter your address information, choose a payment method and place your order. We'll handle all the logistics and ensure your food is delivered at the time of your choosing. We offer payment via cash on delivery, bank transfer, and secure online payment using a credit or debit card.

Change or cancel an order

We know life can be unpredictable. If you need to change or cancel an order, or adjust the delivery day and time, please contact us and we'll do our best to help you.

Ordering for multiple days

Once you've decided what you would like to order, simply click ADD below the relevant menu item. This will reveal a menu showing the available delivery days. Each menu item can be ordered up to a week in advance, just click your desired delivery day and the item will be added to your bag. There's no need to make a seperate order if you want another item, or even the same item, on a different day, just click ADD again and select your desired day. We'll compile all the items, handle the logistics and deliver the food fresh to your door each day!

Using a promo code

If you have a promotional code you can apply it during the checkout process. On the right hand side within the Review section there is a 'Promo code?' link. Enter your code there and click apply. The summary will reflect when the code has been applied successfully. If you are experiencing any problems with your code, please contact us.

Can I combine two promo codes? Our system only allows one code to be applied to a given order. However, if you enter two codes we'll determine which gives you the greatest discount and only apply that code.

Using store credit

If you have store credit you can apply it during the checkout process. On the right hand side within the Review section there is a 'Use Store Credit' link. You can enter the amount of store credit you would like to use there and then click apply. The totals summary will reflect when the credit has been applied successfully. If you are experiencing any problems with applying store credit, please contact us.

ABOUT THE FOOD

What is the food like?

Polpa’s food is delicious while being nutritious and good for you. The menu is Mediterranean inspired so naturally the food is punchy and flavourful - think garlic, lemon and chilli. Most menu items have a strong vegetable base, paired with healthy wholegrains and lean meat. All the ingredients are carefully chosen to maximise the health benefits, we use extra virgin olive for dressing, natural honey for sweetness, hormone free meats and we work hard to use organic as much as possible.

What are the portions like?

Our meals are between 250-400g and ideal for one person. Because our meals are vegetable centric and low in carbohydrates, they can be filling without making you feel stuffed. We wouldn't want anyone to fall asleep in the afternoon at the office!

What if I have a food allergy?

Please make sure to check out the dietary information section for each menu item. There we detail out the common allergens; nuts, fish, eggs, milk, soya, wheat and shellfish, contained within each dish. For food intolerances such as gluten or dairy, please look out for the gluten free and dairy free labels on the menu. If you are unsure or have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Do you offer vegetarian, vegan, and wheat-free options?

Each of our menu items are labelled as Dairy-free, Gluten-free, Wheat-free, Low Fat, Vegetarian or Vegan. Use the Filter button on the menu page to quickly view meals which belong to a particular dietary type. If you are unsure please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Do you provide the nutritional info behind each meal?

Yes, click on the menu item of interest, there you'll find a list of ingredients and full nutritional breakdown.

DELIVERY

When does Polpa deliver?

Currently Polpa delivers between 11am - 1pm and 5 - 7pm, Monday to Friday. We offer both same-day and scheduled ahead delivery.

What time do I need to order by?

For same-day delivery, we kindly ask that you order before 10am for lunch, and before 4pm for dinner.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery costs depend on your distance from our kitchen, with the fees varying between ฿0 and ฿200. You can find the cost for your location by entering your address into our Delivery Options. It's worth noting that for a single order we charge on a cost per delivery basis.

Where can the food be delivered?

You can have the food delivered to your home, your office, your friends house - anywhere really, provided the address is within one of our delivery districts. In case our courier struggles to find you, please make sure you leave us your telephone number during checkout!

Can I do pickup instead of delivery?

Sorry, we don't currently offer a pickup service.

PREPARATION

How do I prepare my meal?

Most of our food is ready to eat at room temperature and does not require heating up. However, as this is a hot country, it's best to keep your food refrigerated if you do not plan to eat it immediately. If you would prefer your meal box hot, please remove the plastic lid and microwave until the food reaches the desired temperature.

Are the containers microwave and oven safe?

All our containers are made from natural plant fibre (except clear plastic lid). They are microwaveable and can be used in the oven. They can safely withstand temperatures from -40 to 250 degrees Celsius.

How long can I keep a Polpa meal in the refrigerator?

Polpa food is best eaten on the day, however it will keep 2-3 days if you refrigerate immediately. We do not recommend freezing the food.

Recycle & composting guidelines

All of our containers except the clear plastic lids are made from biodegradable natural plant fibre, a local product both in terms of material and technology. The containers are non-toxic & carcinogen-free and completely degradable within 6 weeks. Try reusing them as starter plant pots!

How do I unsubscribe from Polpa emails?

To unsubscribe go to one of Polpa's emails and click unsubscribe at the bottom of the page.

Alternatively, if you have a Polpa account, go to your Profile and click the Edit button which will allow you to change your email preferences.

How do I invite friends and get free food?

Want to spread the Polpa love? All you have to do is share your personal invite link with them. They'll get Polpa credit/free food from your invite, and you'll get Polpa credit/free food in your account once they order. There's no limit to how many friends you can invite! Here's how to share:

3. Share your personal invite link with your friends/family/colleagues via Facebook, Line, Twitter or email.

Referral Policy
Personal invite links should not be shared with yourself or individuals that are part of your household. Personal invite links should only be used for personal and not commercial purposes. Invite links can be shared with personal connections via email, Facebook, Twitter, personal blogs, etc. in which you are the primary content owner. Public distribution on sites where you are a contributor and not the primary owner of the content (e.g. Wikipedia, coupon websites) is not permitted. Promoting your invite code via search engine marketing (e.g. AdWords, Yahoo, Bing) is also not permitted. Use of personal invite links must also conform with Polpa's Privacy & Terms. Polpa reserves the right to suspend your account and/or revoke any or all referral credits at any time if we feel they were earned inappropriately.

Is this site secure?

At Polpa we take security and privacy seriously. Polpa is entirely a SSL-protected site. All logins and orders are processed using secure encryption, the same level of cryptography used by top banks. Polpa is powered by Amazon Web Services' cloud computing, which provides world-class data protection and is used by leading companies such as Pinterest and Airbnb.
